About Us
Brewed Awakening is the first student-operated business on campus at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. “Boldly Brewed and Always Awakening” is our slogan. The coffee shop is managed by ENACTUS (formerly SIFE), with support from university faculty and staff, students have been empowered by the process of building this business since 2012. The shop provides experiential learning opportunities for everyone involved.

For the Community
The 50% increase in revenue generated by the coffee shop will be used to increase our resource capacity for planned social entrepreneurship projects for people in need. The 50% increase in catering events has allowed us to serve more customers, bring in more resource, grow our business, and provide the community with the finest catering available at a reasonable price.
